Clarity and trust
Your information. Your choices.
How inquiries and profiles are used, and how to contact us about your information.
What you share with us
We collect the contact details and information you provide in an inquiry or profile, including preferences, availability, interests and matching information. If you create an account, you can also add an introduction, photographs or a video.
Who can see your information
Authorized Helping Companions administrators can review inquiries and profiles to follow up and arrange matching. Requests are stored in our system; notifications may also be sent through our email and form service providers.
How shared profiles work
Profiles are not a public directory. When a sharing link is enabled, anyone with that link can view the profile’s introduction, city, languages, interests, availability and media. A recipient can forward the link. The shared profile does not display private email, phone or street-address fields, or the full intake form. Do not put those details in your biography or media.
Your choices
You can edit your profile through your account, if you have one. To access, correct or request deletion of information, or ask us to stop sharing a profile, use the form below. Provide the email associated with your inquiry or account. We will review the request and may verify your identity before taking action.
Share only what is needed
Please do not send medical information, banking details or passwords in inquiries. If you complete a form for someone else, make sure you have their agreement or appropriate authority. Use a password field only when creating or signing in to your account.
Have a request about your information?
Tell us what you would like to access or change. Please do not send identification documents through this form.
